On 29 June 2026, H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, led the Heads and officials of Team Thailand agencies in Canberra and their spouses in a volunteer activity to commemorate the Birthday Anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana on 3 June 2025 at Orange Sky - Blue Door Centre in Canberra. The volunteers helped provide and serve the warmly prepared Thai lunch, which included Thai Jasmine rice, deep-fried Basa fish with garlic and chicken Panang curry, to homeless people residing at the Centre as well as those in need.

The Orange Sky - Blue Door Centre was set up by the St Vincent de Paul Society, a not-for-profit organization, to provide lunches and other life necessities for the homeless and others in need of support. Each day the Centre prepares 120-150 lunch boxes. It receives funding from the Australian Capital Territory Government and the St Vincent de Paul Society which is used for operation and to run these assistance services.

This is the third time that the Royal Thai Embassy and Team Thailand agencies in Canberra organised a volunteer activity at the Orange Sky - Blue Door Centre. The activity gives opportunity for those in need to enjoy a special Thai meal different from what they usually have. It also allowed officials and staff from Team Thailand agencies to interact with the Centre’s personnel and those receiving the food, which helps promote awareness about Thailand and illustrate the constructive role of Team Thailand agencies in supporting the local community and contributing to an inclusive society.
