On 14 -16 September 2023, Mr. Nitirooge Phoneprasert, Consul-General of Thailand in Chennai, has led a delegation from Ubon Ratchathani University (URU) headed by Associate Prof. Dr. Chutinan Prasitpuripreecha, President of URU to visit three prominent universities in Hyderabad - University of Hyderabad, Osmania University, and Indian School of Business (ISB).

During the said visit, the Thai delegation met with executives of the three universities and discussed ways to promote the educational cooperation between their institutions including students and faculty exchange, joint research programme, joint academic activities, and promotion of their academic curriculum among Thai and Indian students.

University of Hyderabad, Osmania University, and Indian School of Business (ISB) are considered the leading and prestigious universities in Telangana, specializing and renowned in political science, laws, social science, English, commerce and management, life science, biology, and chemistry, among others.
