Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Qatar attended the monthly Asian Ambassadors' Group Luncheon

On 29 August 2023, H.E. Mr. Sira Swangsilpa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Qatar, attended the monthly luncheon of Asian Ambassadors' Group, hosted by H.E. Mohamed Mafaz Mohideen, Ambassador of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to the State of Qatar. During this luncheon, the attending Ambassadors took the opportunity to bid farewell to H.E. Jai S. Sohan, Ambassador of the Republic of Singapore to the State of Qatar, as he will be completing his assignment in September 2023.

This luncheon is a monthly gathering organized by the Asian Ambassadors' Groups in Doha, comprising ambassadors and Chargé d'Affaires a.i from 22 Asian countries with diplomatic missions in Qatar. Each participating country takes turn hosting the event. The luncheon serves as a forum to exchange views and information on topics of common interests in the region and for building close and cordial networks among Asian ambassadors.
