On 26 September 2023, H.E. Mr. Sira Swangsilpa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Qatar, presided over the award ceremony for the winners of the “Extraordinary Escape in Thailand Photo Contest” at Sabai Thai Restaurant, The Westin Doha Hotel. This captivating event, organized by the Royal Thai Embassy, provided a remarkable platform for the general public to share their cherished and unforgettable experiences of Thailand through the art of photography. With over 20 impressive submissions, the exceptional work of Mr. Wilson Chan, Mrs. Sheila Gloria and Mrs. Catalina Rojas, was respectively selected. The winners have earned gift vouchers to savor the exquisite flavors of authentic Thai cuisine at selected Thai restaurants in Doha. Beyond the recognition of these remarkable talents, the Royal Thai Embassy remains committed to fostering stronger people-to-people relations between Thailand and Qatar, promoting mutual understanding through our traditional, and boosting Thailand’s popularity as a top tourist destination for travelers from Qatar.
