On 27 July 2022, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Kolkata organized a ceremony to commemorate the auspicious occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua on 28 July 2022. Ms. Acharapan Yavaprapas, Consul-General of Thailand in Kolkata led the officials together with their spouses to pay homage to His Majesty the King, followed by candle lighting ceremony and signing the book of well-wishes at the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Kolkata. 

Moreover, on 26 July 2022, the Royal Thai Consulate-General organized a religious ceremony on the same occasion, which included merit-making and food offering to the monks at Nipponzan Myohoji Buddhist Temple in Kolkata.
