On 22 October 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy in Lisbon organized a paying homage ceremony on the occasion of His Majesty King Chulalongkorn the Memorial Day, 23 October 2024.

Ms. Supapan Tiapiriyakij, Chargé d’Affaires, a.i., presided over the ceremony held at the Embassy’s premises, which comprised wreath-laying, delivering a statement of remembrance and paying silent tribute. On this occasion, the Embassy’s staff also performed a volunteer service by cleaning the Thai pavilion area in Vasco Da Gama Garden, Belem, in remembrance of His Majesty King Chulalongkorn.
