The Royal Thai Embassy joined the diplomatic community in Lisbon and participated in the 39^th Diplomatic Bazaar organized by Association of Families of Portuguese Diplomats (AFDP) from 7 – 8 November 2024 at Centro de Congressos de Lisboa. On this occasion the Embassy had privilege to receive H.E. Mr. Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, President of the Portuguese Republic, who kindly graced the Embassy’s booth.

This year edition, the Embassy displayed variety of Thai products : Thai curry paste, sortiment of Thai snack products and juice – all of them were made in Thailand. We also presented Thai chicken curry puffs and Thai bean puffs, recipe of which is assumedly adapted from Portuguese Pastel, brought to Siam by the Portuguese settlers in 17^th Century during Ayuddhaya period.

Profit from sale will be delivered to AFDP for the purpose of support the institutions dedicated to providing care for the elderly.
