The Royal Thai Embassy in Washington and the Royal Thai Consulate General in New York joined the celebration of the first anniversary of Little Thailand Way in NYC

On September 23, 2023, Ambassador Tanee Sangrat, together with Mrs. Cholatip Kambhu Sangrat, his spouse, and Consul General Somjai Taphaopong presided over the celebration of the first anniversary of ‘Little Thailand Way’ in New York City. The event was well attended by members of Royal Thai Embassy, Washington D.C., the Royal Thai Consulate General, Tourism Authority of Thailand NA, the Thai community, the Office of the NYC Council Member, the Office of the NYS Assembly Member and local agencies.

Ambassador Tanee and Consul General Somjai warmly extended their greetings and congratulations to the Little Thailand Way community for its strong and impressive growth, as well as its increased recognition. They also acknowledged the commitment of the Thai Community USA NYC, led by Mr. Juttana Limreartwate, for the exceptional support in advancing the growth of the Little Thailand Way community.

During this special event, the Thai Community USA NYC, in partnership with NYC Council Member Chekar Krishnan and NYS Assembly Member Steven Raga, also awarded certificates to ten outstanding individuals from the Thai community in honor of their unwavering contributions.
