Ambassador of Thailand to Norway welcomed a group of young and talented Thai artists called ‘Moradokmai Theatre Community’

On 5 September 2023, H.E. Ms. Vimolbajra Ruksakiati, Ambassador of Thailand to Norway, welcomed a group of young and talented Thai artists called ‘Moradokmai Theatre Community’ (Moradokmai literally means ‘new heritage’), under the guidance of Mr. Janaprakal Chandruang, 2019 Thai National Artist in the field of Performing arts (Film and drama).

The Embassy supports the activities of Moradokmai and is very proud of their achievement to promote Thailand’s soft power on music and culture in Norway. This activity also contributes to the meaningful self-development and learning process for the young Thai artists to acquire while they are on their performance tour in Norway. We hope they will be an asset for the future generation of the relations between Thailand and Norway especially people-to-people relations.

The Embassy would like to express our appreciation, once again, to the Thai community in Norway, especially Wat Thai Norway, the Thai Women’s Association in Norway, and Thai Music and Dance Club in Norway, for their kind cooperation with the Embassy and their continued support for the Moradokmai Theatre Community.
