On 29 March 2024, Mr. Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Royal Thai Embassy in Seoul, and Mrs. Kanticha Laicharernkit, Consul, together with Miss Wichaya Sinthusen and the Passport Division team from the Department of Consular Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, attended a hybrid meeting to get a briefing on “Passport Renewal Online Application Service," which was organised by Mr. Yoo Dongwan, the Director of Passport Division and the Passport Division team, Consular Affairs and Safety Bureau, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea.

In the future when the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand operates the Passport Renewal Online Application Service, it is expected that this service will facilitate Thai nationals who are living abroad to apply for new passports more quickly and conveniently.
