On 6–7 June 2026, H.E. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK, led consular officials and labour affairs teams to provide consular services and legal briefings for the Thai community in the ROK at Lahan Hotel Pohang.

During the 5/2026 Mobile Consular Services, a total of 421 Thai nationals received services during this mobile consular visit, including 228 applications for passports, 171 applications for Thai ID card services, and 22 civil registration and document legalisation services. On this occasion, the Ambassador also met with Thai nationals who attended the consular services and visited Thai workers at a vegetable farm near Pohang. He inquired about their well-being and encouraged them to maintain good health and save money for their future.
