On the occasion of the official visit of the Republic of Korea, on 2 August 2024, H.E. Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, Minister of Foreign Affairs handed over The World Tipiṭaka Saj-jhā-ya Phonetic Recitation, King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Queen Sirikit Commemorative 2016 Editions to H.E. Mr. Cho Tae-yul, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea. The event marks particular significance as the Republic of Korea is the first receiving country under “The World Tipiṭaka Saj-jhā-ya Phonetic Recitation, the King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Queen Sirikit Commemorative 2016 Editions: A Gift of Peace and Wisdom for All, in Celebration of the 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua (28 July 2024)” project, a collaboration between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand and the World Tripitaka Foundation.
