On 26 November 2025, Mrs. Eksiri Pintaruchi, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, held a discussion with H.E. Mr. Kim Namjung, Vice Minister of Unification of the Republic of Korea (ROK), at the Ministry of Unification of the ROK. Both sides exchanged views on regional issues and developments on the Korean Peninsula, in which the Permanent Secretary expressed Thailand’s readiness to play a constructive role, where possible, in finding ways towards de-escalating tensions on the Korean Peninsula.
