On 2 October 2025, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the Republic of Korea, attended the 2025 Korea Herald HIT Forum under the theme “Bringing Futures: Asia’s New Chapter from Seoul.” The event was attended by H.E. Mr. Kim Min-seok, Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea, and media representatives from across Asia.

Ambassador Tanee emphasized the importance of Asia’s unity in addressing global economic challenges and called for greater regional cooperation and connectivity. He also emphasized continuation of Thailand’s key economic policies led by Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, including the Land Bridge project, investment promotion in high-tech sectors, and ongoing FTA negotiations with many countries, particularly South Korea.
