On 15 May 2025,
Mr. Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, Minister/Deputy Chief of Mission, the Royal Thai Embassy, Seoul together with Ambassadors/DCM from other Embassies in the ROK were invited by Korea National University of Heritage to participate in a special lecture by Professor Sim Yeonok on “Geumbak”, Korean traditional Gold Leaf Imprinting, which was popular among royal family members to commoners during Joseon Dynasty on the occasion of 2025 K-Heritage Day. This event was organized at K- Heritage International Center in Seoul.
Korea National University of Heritage also organized this event to publicize the book of “Guambak”, written by Professor Sim Yeonok, which is one of the best practices of the ROK in preserving Korean cultural heritage that can develop into various unique products in the present day. The Thai side can learn and exchange best practices in this area.
