On 8 May 2026, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, joined a bilateral meeting between H.E. Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister of Thailand, and H.E. Mr. Lawrence Wong, Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore, on the sidelines of the 48th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits in Cebu, the Republic of the Philippines.

Both sides expressed satisfaction with the good momentum of Thai - Singapore relations reflected by continued high-level visits and agreed to strengthen economic cooperation, especially in the areas of digital economy, aviation industry, and energy security.

Both sides also exchanged views on regional issues, such as the situation in the Middle East and the importance of fostering energy security and connectivity in ASEAN, as well as recent developments in Myanmar.
