On 16 June 2025, Ambassador Arunrung Pothong Humphreys, together with Group Captain Putthapong Phalajivin, Defence and Air Attache, visited Scandinavian Manufacturing SCAMA AB, a manufacturer of aircraft arresting systems. The delegation was welcomed by Mr. Marcus Ahagen, CEO, and Mr. Peter Nydal, Marketing Director of SCAMA, as well as representatives from Asgard Technologies, SCAMA’s representative in Thailand, including Ms. Nongpong Tawiluea, Managing Director, and Mr. Matthias Kanie, Co-Founder of Asgard Technologies.

During the visit, company representatives provided a presentation on SCAMA´s backgroud, which has been established for over 50 years as well as showcasting the company’s manufacturing plant and products. SCAMA is currently one of only two companies worldwide that manufactures aircraft arresting systems. With the mission of inventing technology that saves lives and reduces damage of aircraft, SCAMA also set up a company in the United States named ATECH Inc. SCAMA has cooperated with several countries in Asia.
