On 28 June 2023, H.E. Mr. Irfan Shakir oglu Davudov, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Thailand with residence in Kuala Lumpur, paid a courtesy call on Mr. Sarun Charoensuwan, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, and Mr. Asi Mamanee, Director-General of the European Affairs Department, on his assumption of duty.

On this occasion, both sides discussed ways to promote bilateral cooperation in various areas of mutual interests, particularly in investment, energy, agriculture, and tourism, as well as exchanging views on the situations in Nagorno-Karabakh and Ukraine.
