Following the signing ceremony of the Agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand and the Government of the French Republic on Visa Exemption for Holders of Official/Service Passports convened at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand on 15 September 2023, the Agreement will allow exemption of visa for holders of valid official/service passports that were issued from 1 July 2020 for an uninterrupted stay or multiple entries with a total period not exceeding 90 days in any 180 days period from the date of their entry.

The Agreement will not yet take effect until both sides complete their respective internal legal procedures. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will announce the date of entry into force of the said Agreement in due course.
