On 31 January 2026, H.E. Mr. Witchu Vejjajiva, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, led the officials and staff of the Royal Thai Embassy and Team Thailand, along with their spouses, and the Thai community in Tokyo and neighboring prefectures to participate in the Hundredth-Day Merit-Making Ceremony in dedication to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother at Wat Phra Chetuphon Narita (Wat Pho Narita).

          At the ceremony, participants offered alms to Buddhist monks from Wat Paknam Japan, Wat Phra Chetuphon Narita, Wat Phra Dhammakaya Ibaraki, and Wat Metta Tham, attended a Buddhist ceremony, and also observed a moment of solemn reflection, dedicating merit to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother.

          On this occasion, the Royal Thai Embassy and the Thai community in Japan, e.g. Kaewjai Restaurant, Platong Restaurant, HATO Moving Services (Nakano, Tokyo), the Thai Massage Association in Japan, also organised a charitable food and beverages offering, dedicating merit to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother.
