On 31 October 2025, H.E. Mr. Witchu Vejjajiva, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan presided over the Seven-Day Merit-Making (Sattamawara) Ceremony in dedication to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother. The ceremony was attended by officials and staff of the Royal Thai Embassy and Team Thailand, together with their spouses. After the Buddhist ceremony, the participants also spent moments in meditation to honor and dedicate merit to Her Majesty The Queen Mother.

The Embassy will continue to hold merit-making on the 15^th, 50^th, and 100^th day following the passing Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother.
