On 20 October 2026, H.E. Mr. Sarun Charoensuwan, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, delivered a keynote speech at the Korea - Thailand Future Cooperation Forum at Chulalongkorn University. The Forum was co-organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea (ROK) in Bangkok and Chulalongkorn University under the theme “Building Tomorrow Together: Our Partnership in AI and Content Industries.”

The Vice Foreign Minister proposed ways forward for Thailand - ROK cooperation in artificial intelligence (AI) and the content industries, with a focus on AI talent development, the development of an innovation-friendly AI ecosystem and the promotion of AI governance. He also highlighted the importance of expanding collaboration in content co-production, including film, television series, animation and games to strengthen the competitiveness of the creative industries and bring Thai content to wider global markets.
