On 16 June 2025, H.E. Mr. Russ Jalichandra, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, participated in the Kultaranta Talks 2025 in Naantali, Republic of Finland. The Vice Minister shared his perspectives in the panel discussion titled “Accumulation of Shocks at the Global Level – What the West Should Understand”, alongside H.E. Ms. Elina Valtonen, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Finland, as well as ministerial-level representatives from Kenya, Costa Rica, and Benin. He emphasized the importance of fostering mutual understanding among different regions and promoting multilateral cooperation as a means to sustainably address conflicts and global crises.

The Kultaranta Talks is a high-level forum on international security policy, hosted by the President of the Republic of Finland. It aims to provide a platform for exchanging policy perspectives among leaders, academics, and experts from various sectors on current international issues from diverse contexts and viewpoints.
