On 17 January 2012, Mr. Jacques Stroun, Head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Regional Delegation in Bangkok, paid a courtesy call on Foreign Minister Surapong Tovichakchaikul, whereby he reported to the Foreign Minister about the ICRCs relief assistance during the floods, as well as the ICRCs humanitarian assistance rendered to displaced persons along the border. In this regard, the ICRC had received good cooperation and support from Thai agencies concerned.
