On 14 January 2013, Mr. Theerakun Niyom, Ambassador of thailand, Ms.Pannabha Chandraramya, Minister Counsellor, Mr.Pricha Nawongs, General Manager Thai Airways Scandinavia, Mr. Arnuphap Kittikul, General Manager Thai Airway, and Mr.Sarawut Patamarangkul, Airport Services Manager Oslo Airport represented Thailand at the Norwegian Grand Travel Award 2013 presentation ceremony, organized by Travel News Magazine, a leading independent Norwegian travel trade magazine at the Radisson Blu Scandinavia, Oslo.

     Thai Airways INternational, the National Carrier, has once again won the prestigious award for "Best Intercontinental Aitline". This marks the ninth consecutive year in which Thai Airways has acclaimed this prestigious award. Mr. Arnuphap Kittikul, General Manager of Thai Airways Norway received the award on behalf of THAI.

     Which the populations of around 5 Million, Thailand welcomed approx 130,000 tourists from Norway last year.

     The Grand Travel award was attended by leading travel agencies and key decision makers in the travel trade. The nominees are selected by a travel trade jury, and the voting is done by a random selection of more than 800 travel agents all over Norway.
