On 15 January 2013,  Ms. Panpimon Suwannapongse, Thai Consul-General in Ho Chi Minh City, together with staffs of the Thai Consulate-General, attended the New Year luncheon of the Association of Overseas Vietnamese in Thailand-Laos at the Association’s Office. On this opportunity, the Consul-General handed a contribution worth USD 1,000 in order to help support the Association’s future activities.

     The Association of Overseas Vietnamese in Thailand-Laos is a key partner of the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Ho Chi Minh City which is appreciative of the Association’s  role in forging closer ties between the peoples of Thailand and Vietnam through its cultural exchange activities.
