On 6 April 2013, during his visit to the State of Utah upon the invitation of Brigham Young University, Dr. Chaiyong Satjipanon, Ambassador of Thailand to the United States of America, met with Thai communities, visited a mobile consular service organized by the Royal Thai Consulate General in Los Angeles, and presided over the ceremony to unveil the name of Wat Chai Mongkolvararam in Ogden, Utah.
