On the occasion of the traditional New Year of Thailand, H.E. Mr. Somchai Charanasomboon, Ambassador of Thailand to Sweden visited Thai community in various parts of Sweden. On 14 April 2013 H.E. the Ambassador went to Prakatsatjatam Temple in Eskilstuna, which is located about 100 km. from Stockholm. 

     On this occasion, H.E. Ambassador Somchai attented a traditional Buddhism merit making. Furthermore, the Ambassador met the Thai community in Eskilstuna, at Prakatsatjatam Temple where he was warmly greeted. During the event, the Ambassador had lunch with the Thai community as well as discussed the well-being of Thais in Sweden. Also, H.E. Ambassador Somchai answered and advised on consular matters for Thais as well as encouraged Thais to gather and to help each other, in order to maintain a strong Thai community in Sweden.
