On 13 April 2013 H.E. Mr. Somchai Charanasomboon, Ambassador of Thailand to Sweden and diplomats from the Royal Thai Embassy in Stockholm attended the annual meeting in celebration of SANUK´s 10th Anniversary as well as visiting 15 Thai adoptees and their Swedish families who attended the meeting. The event took place in Älvsjö, Stockholm.  

     On his opening remarks, H.E. Ambassador Somchai praised SANUK for being a forum to spread information about Thai culture and events in Sweden as well as for providing Thai adoptees with a brighter future. Moreover, the Ambassador expressed his delight that Thai adoptees have been happily raised and living a good life in Sweden. Also, the Ambassador encouraged the Swedish parents and the adoptees to learn Thai as well as Thai culture and traditions.

     Finally, H.E. Ambassador Somchai answered and gave advice on matters of adoption from Thailand.
