Between 25 – 26 April 2013, the Royal Thai Embassy in Lima participated in the San Isidro Fair, an annual event organized by the Municipality of San Isidro. This Fair offers opportunity for all embassies located in the San Isidro District to promote their cultures in all dimensions through exhibition, food tasting and demonstration as well as cultural show under the theme of “ San Isidro opens its doors to the world” .This year over 5,000 people, who mostly are the residents of San Isidro both Peruvian and Foreigners and students, visited the Fair.

This is the second time that the Royal Thai Embassy in Lima participated in this event. More information about Thailand and Thai cultures were promoted to the public through mobiles exhibitions, Thai dance and Thai food tasting. The visitors of the San Isidro Fair demonstrated great attention to our Thailand stand especially during the Thai food tasting. For Peruvian public Thailand is known as top touristic destination and world’s top cuisine. They were impressed by Thai dishes they tasted and were interested to know more about Thailand.
