On 8 May 2013, H.E. Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, Ambassador; Ms. Kokan Sangiampongsa, Ambassador’s spouse; Group Captain Suksom Sukasam, Defence and Air Attaché; Colonel Nonthawat Pakdipongpitchaya, Army Attaché and Assistant Defence Attaché; Captain Kercchai Vajanaporn, RTN, Naval Attaché and Assistant Defence Attaché; Team Thailand; officials and spouses held a reception on the occasion of the Royal Thai Armed Forces Day at Salathai, Royal Thai Embassy, Canberra.  On this occasion, Group Captain Suksom Sukasam; General David Hurley, AC, DSC, Chief of the Defence Force of Australia; and HE Mr Maris Sangiampongsa delivered opening speeches. Participants, approximately 200, enjoyed visual presentation of roles and duties of Thai Defence Forces, Thai musical dance and Thai boxing.
