On 16 May 2013, H.E. Mr. Pisanu Suvanajata, Ambassador of Thailand to Myanmar, received a group of 8 news executives and editors from the Thai Journalists Association led by Ms. Sattakamol Worakul, Senior Manager – CSR & Public Relations Office of Corporate Communications, Thai Beverage Public Company Limited. The group’s visit to Myanmar aims to study Myanmar’s developments and preparations towards the ASEAN Community in 2015.

     Ambassador Pisanu gave in-depth information about the emerging developments in Myanmar and the rising relationship between Thailand and Myanmar. Ambassador Pisanu also elaborated on activities to celebrate the 65th Thai-Myanmar Diplomatic Relations, which will enhance the people-to-people relationship. The group of Thai Journalists Association will meet with Myanmar journalists and media during 16-20 May 2013 to build close networks and collaborations between the media of both countries.
