On 18th May 2013, H.E. Mr. Surapon Petch-vra, Thai Ambassador to Chile was invited  to participate  the Muay Thai National Championships “Thailand Cup 2013 (Copa Tailandia)” organized by Chilean Federation of Muay Thai (Federación Chilena de Muay Thai) at Croatian Sport Club (Club Estadio Croata). The event drew huge crowd  among Chilean enthusiasts of Muay Thai.

The competition aimed to select talent Chilean Muay Thai athletes for the national team to participate in South American Championship of Muay Thai in Paraguay which will be held in June 2013.  On this occasion, the Ambassador also presented  Thai products as souvenirs to Mr. Sergio Liempi Varas, representative of Chilean Federation of Muay Thai.
