On 15 June 2013, Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore represented by Ms Ponpat Thitthongkham, Second Secretary, joined hands with members of Thai Association and Thai Dance Society in launching a Thai cultural session at Little Arts Academy as part of Singapore International Foundation’s “Little by Little” program. The four hours session included a presentation about the Songkran festival in Thailand and a Thai dance workshop conducted by Thai Association and Thai Dance Society Singapore. This was followed by the sharing by LAA youths about the Deepavali Festival.

“Little by Little program” is organised by the Singapore International Foundation and Little Arts Academy with an aim to promote understanding and appreciation of different cultures towards bridging Singaporeans and world communities. Through this session, youths gained insights and a better appreciation of Thai culture and dance from the Thai community in Singapore.
