On 30 July 2013, Mr. Biravij Suwanpradhes, Consul General of Thailand to Sydney, together with Ms. Nitchaporn Varnapruk, Deputy Director of the Thai Trade Centre, Sydney, and Mr. Krit Punnakrit, President of the Thai Massage and Spa Association in Australia, held a meeting with Mr. Kamol Bandaiphet, Secretary to the Minister of Public Health, Sqn., Ldr., MD. Boonruang Triruangworawat, Director General of the Department of Health Service Support, who come to Sydney to visit Thai massage and spa operators in Sydney during 29 July - 1 Aug 2013.

     The discussion was on the plan to support the Thai massage and spa operators to promote the word Nuad Thai,  a plan to send instructor to teach Thai massage to the spa therapists, and a plan to promote the certificate for standard massage and spa operators.
