On 8 July 2013 His Excellency Dr. Itti Ditbanjong, Ambassador Extraordianry and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Russian Federation hosted luncheon  in honour of  Mr. Paijit Sreewarakan, Chairman of the Standing Committee on the Representatives Affairs of the National Assembly, who led a delegation from the Standing Committee on the Representatives Affairs to visit Russia during 5-11 July 2013. During the luncheon the Ambassador has briefed the delegation about Russia in the aspects of politics and administration, economy and social matters. The Embassy also arranged an appointment between the delegation and Mr. Vadim Albertovich Tulpanov, Chairman of the Council of the Federation Committee on the House Rules and Parliamentary Performance management. The said meeting contributed to the strengthening of cooperation and closer relations between Thailand and Russia in the field of parliamentary affairs.
