     The Royal Thai Embassy in Hanoi, in collaboration with the Department of Community Development, Ministry of Interior of Thailand, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand and the Ministry of Education and Training of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, has organized the 5th Thai - Vietnamese Youth Exchange Project in Thailand during 6 - 19 July 2013. Twelve Vietnamese youths from various universities in Hanoi and two teachers from Hanoi University and Vietnam National University, Hanoi, were selected to participate in the Project with twelve Thai youth partners in Thailand. The Project includes various types of interesting activities, such as the familiarization activities and home stay in the local community in Nakhon Phanom Province, the briefing on Sufficiency Economy and Thai-Vietnam Relations, the study visits to various historic and cultural sites in Bangkok and nearly provinces. During the Project, the Vietnamese youths also had an opportunity to sign well-wishing book for HM King Bhumibol at Siriraj Hospital.
     The Project provides the Vietnamese students with better knowledge and understanding about the various aspects of Thailand, the living in the local community and the relations between Thailand and Vietnam. Such understanding will help extending connection and friendship between the peoples, as well as strengthening the relations between the two countries.
