On 28 August 2013, Miss Chatsinee Wutimananon, Charge d’ Affaires to the Royal Thai Embassy, Abu Dhabi attended the ASEAN Night 2013 at Indonesian Embassy.

            The ASEAN Night, which was attended by approximately 200 guests, was co-organized by all embassies of ASEAN countries in Abu Dhabi to celebrate its 46^th founding anniversary following the establishment the ASEAN Committee in Abu Dhabi (ACAD) on 8 August 2011. Its purposes were to promote the well-preserved arts and cultures of ASEAN member countries and to raise awareness of ASEAN community among foreign diplomats, media, businessmen and civil service officers in the UAE. Each ASEAN Embassy had prepared its own national cuisine. The Royal Thai Embassy provided some famous Thai dishes, such as Som tam, beef salad and Mung bean Thai custard for the event.
