The Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore helped facilitate the emergency evacuation of Thai nationals from Egypt by Singapore Airlines, transiting at Changi Airport, Singapore, to  Thailand. Thus far, 81 Thai evacuees have travelled through Singapore on 25 August 2013, followed by the evacuation of 123 and 49 Thai nationals on 30 August and 1 September 2013, respectively. Therefore, 253 Thais have been evacuated from Egypt through Singapore, and in total, there are 1,192 Thais evacuated from Egypt. These Thai nationals have travelled safely back to Suvarnabhumi Airport, Thailand.
