On 3 September 2013, Dr. Panpree Phathithanukorn, Chairman of PTT Public Company Limited (PTT), a national oil company of Thailand,  together with Dr. Pailin Chuchottaworn, PTT President and Chief Executive Officer and high delegates from the company donated 1 Buddha Statue with 60”inch of long measure of the statue in the posture of meditation, 260 alms bowls, 260 umbrellas and 4,700 dollars to the Chief Incumbent of Gangaramaya Temple, Colombo, to celebrate 260th anniversary of the establishment of Siam Nikaya in Sri Lanka. The event was also attended by Honorable Anura Priyadharshana Yapa, Minister of Petroleum Industry of Sri Lanka and His Excellency Mr. Poldej Worachat, Thai Ambassador to Sri Lanka.
