On 4 September 2013, H.E. Mr. Chakorn Suchiva, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Portugal, presented a financial support from Royal Thai Government of 1,422.96 Euros (57,999.85 Baht) to Budismo Theravada da Floresta – Comunidade Religiosa, and received by Ajahn Vajiro, Head of the Theravada Monastery in Portugal. The ceremony was witnessed by members of the Board of Budismo Theravada da Floresta – Comunidae Religiosa.and the Embassy’s diplomats. On this occasion, Ambassador Chakorn Suchiva offered dana to the Monastery’s 4 bhikkhus.
