On 21 – 22 September 2013 the Royal Thai Embassy together with Thailand Foundation and Czech Muay Thai Association jointly organized events to promote Muaythai in Prague.  Team of professional Muaythai boxers and trainers from Thailand were participating in the following activities;

-  the Muaythai training class at Hotel Olsanka on 21 September 2013, in which around 80 people attended;

-  the exhibition and demonstration of Muaythai and Muay Boran (the ancient Thai boxing) before the friendly match on Muaythai between Thai and Czech professional boxers which were held at Hotel Olsanka on 22 September 2013.  There were more than 400 locals attended these events.

With the growing interest in Muaythai in particular among women and children, those activities would help extensively promoting Muaythai in the Czech Republic which would lead to better understanding between Thai and Czech people.  In addition, these activities are also part of the activities to commemorate the 40^th Anniversary of our Diplomatic Relations between Thailand and the Czech Republic.
