On 4 September 2013 the Royal Thai Embassy in Athens in collaboration with the Office of Toursim Authority of Thailand in Romania organized the promotion of Thailand event during  “The SILA FEST” at Veliko Gradiste, Serbia, to promote better appreciation of Thailand as one of the most popular tourist destinations among Serbians. The SILA FEST was organized in cooperation with the National Tourism Organization of Serbia, the Tourist Organization of Veliko Gradiste, the College of Toursim in Belgrade and the authorities as well as agencies concerned.

     The event was commenced with an opening ceremony honoured by Mr. Sladjan Markovic, Deputy Mayor of the Municipality, Veliko Gradiste followed by a Thai movie, entitled “Warm Welcome” to promote Thailand. Afterwards. the reception with varieties of Thai dishes at the hall decorated with Thai traditional styles such as the unique paper umbrellas from Northern Thailand, handicrafts etc.
