On 4 December 2013, Ambassador VijavatIsarabhakdi and Deputy Chief of Mission SarojThanasunti welcomed members of the Bunker family, descendants of the Siamese Twin Eng and Chang, at the Royal Thai Embassy.  The Bunker family members traveled from Mount Airy, North Carolina, to Washington D.C. to attend the reception to celebrate the 86th Birthday of His Majesty the King of Thailand at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel on 3 December 2013.
