On 14 January 2014, His Excellency Warawudh Chuwiruch, Thai Ambassador to the UAE, visited Emirates Aquatech, the world’s largest aquaculture farm, and was warmly received by Mr. Ahmed Al Dhaheri, General Manager.

     Emirates Aquatech was officially launched in November 2013. The farm covers an area of 56,000 sq.m. and has a yearly production capacity of 35 tons of caviar (sold under the brand “Yasa Caviar”) and 700 tons of sturgeon meat. The aquaculture farming uses German technology and is done in controlled environment, which should also be possible in Thailand.

     In this discussion with Mr. Al Dhaheri, the Ambassador also learned that Emirates Aquatech was interested in doing business with Thai fish food exporters.
