On Sunday 8 December 2013, 17.00 – 20.30 hrs, the Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore organised the celebration of H.M. the King’s 86th Birthday Anniversary for Thai nationals in Singapore at the Embassy, Orchard Road. On this occasion, the Embassy provided bus services from Golden Mile Complex. There were approximately 700 people attending the event. 

     At 18.00 hrs, H.E. Mr. Marut Jitpatima, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, led the lighting of candles and the singing of royal anthems, and delivered a speech to the Thai community in Singapore. After registering homage and best wishes to H.M. the King in signing books, participants enjoyed Thai cuisine, live music, lucky draws, as well as consular information services.
