On 24 February 2014, H.E. Mr. Tomwit Jarnson, Ambassador of Thailand to Pakistan, and the Embassy officials visited Thai students at male and female Madrassahs in Rawalpindi. There are 35 male students at Madrassah Zakariya Masjid and 9 female students at Madrassah Mariyam Sodikoh. They come from different areas in Thailand such as Bangkok, Chachoengsao, Petchburi, Pattani, Songkla, Nakorn Sri Thammarat, Yala, and Narathiwas. The Thai students were glad to meet Ambassador and the Embassy officials. They all have a good living standard and study hard. They spend their free time by reviewing lessons and playing sports.
