Royal Thai Consulate-General supported a Thai culinary event at Sofitel Mumbai BKC

The Royal Thai Consulate-General, Mumbai, supported the Thai culinary event, “Taste of Thailand”, hosted by Sofitel Mumbai BKC at its Pondichery Café from 8 to 16 March 2014. Sofitel has brought in a Thai chef from Sofitel Krabi.
The event was launched on 8 March 2014 with the presence of the hotel’s GM and Thai Consul-General. The Consulate-General arranged Thai traditional performances to commemorate the opening of the event and to offer the guests memorable experience with Thai culture.
On this occasion, the Consulate-General also sponsored Thai fresh fruits e.g. mangosteen and longan along with informative pamphlets from TAT Mumbai to promote the consumption of Thai fruits among Indians.
The hotel also introduced Thai cocktails, namely Tom Yum Martini and Tub Tim Krob Black Rum as well as a special mixed drink, “Thai Kaffir”, composed of Thai rum provided by the Consulate-General.
