During 16-19 March 2014, the Royal Thai Embassy in Brasilia arranged a mobile consular service unit to Manaus, the capital of State of Amazonas, to provide consular and related services to Thai people who are living and working in the area as well as to hold an Overseas Senate Election.
On this occasion, H.E. Mr. Pitchayaphant Charnbhumidol, Ambassador of Thailand to Brazil, took the opportunity to visit Cal–Comp Electronics (Thailand)’s factory, and meet with Thai employees and residents in Manaus. The company is currently the first and largest Thai investment in Brazil that employed around 40 Thai employees and more than 1,800 Brazilians.
Cal-Comp Electronics (Thailand) PLC is an electronics manufacturing services (EMS) which manufactures and supplies electronics products for major brands worldwide, such as, Western Digital, Seagate, and Technicolor.
