On 28 February 2014, H.E. Mr. Krit Kraichitti, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, received a courtesy call from Mr. Naowarat Pongpaiboon, National Poet of Thailand and SEA Write Award Winner, in capacity of the leader of a team filming a documentary series in Malaysia. Also present were Mr. Lim Swee Tin, Malaysian SEA Write Award Winner, and Epan @ Suwanlerd Pro Poul, Malaysian Siamese poet and Chairman of PESILA (Persatuan Siam Kelantan, Kuala Lumpur dan Selangor). During the call, both sides discussed about possible ways the team can approach in the making of the series, especially given the long historical ties between Thailand and Malaysia.
